American Jews are a different breed than Israeli Jews. I have some Jewish friends that work for large Hollywood concerns and they are very into political correctness and sensitivity towards Muslims, blah blah blah. Then I also have one Israeli friend who lives in Tel Aviv that I stay in touch with through email and he has a whole different perspective. Many American Jews are very left leaning. I really don't understand why when you consider that Democrats have historically been lukewarm to Israel, while Republicans have been unabashed supporters of Israel.
