KRS.V (Kroes Energy) C$ 0.82 - UKRAINE PLAY
- another tidbit which I didn't specifically mention before

KROES has significantly to gain from the Yuschenko victory. In the past it's operations in the country were curtailed and impacted by competing oligarchic factions. Their operations are near Kiev in the Western Ukraine.

The local governmnet is very much supportive of their activities but the "central oligarchic nomenclatura" was rather not.. This is about to change. With all the contacts they built (a major participant of the Ukraine-American chamber of commerce sits onboard Kroes Energy) they should be in a prime position to acquire another project of similar size as Kashtan - without additional financing. IF that happenes that would prop up their reserves towards 40 MMBOE..

It's the RIGHT BET AT THE RIGHT time and I think this will become ONE of the next TRGL's in 2005 !!

all the best

re: UKRAINE - great article

article by Prof. Kuzio offers a glance behind the scene on the oligarch factions - taraskuzio.net

looks especially bad for "Businessman" Medvedchuk and his football club Dynamo Kiev. MAybe he is on his way to Russia already.. Imagine - the article cites Medvedchuk's brother as the head of Lviv tax authority, opressing local businesses not supportive of his party the "Social Democrats" SDPU(o) literally at will..

And I thought the IRS was a pain in the neck...

Even the "Socialist International" - who I certainly have no warm feelings at all - advocating less governmnet myself all my life so far - finally reacted by throwing out membership application of Medvedchuk's SDPU(o) in 2002/2003..

enjoy
