I think what's wrong with that picture is it neglects to take into consideration that it happened to our country. I'm all for helping others but we had and have our own people to worry about after events like the WTC and those Hurricanes first. We're up to 350 million by the feds (the taxpayer) as well as 37 million by us (US donations from people) and millions more from corporations. People have got to let the system work before they scream right away. Government takes time which is why I want lower taxes resulting in more charitable contributions. It used to be that way. Then the Govt decided they could spend the money better. Zillions in red tape and a messed up SS system is proof they can't. It's time to take our money back and let our conscience control the outflow IMO
