BAD MEDIA! DOWN, BOY!

Re: Why is the media not reporting that we didn't pay our pledge on the Bam disaster.

The best answer I've seen floating around lately is that self-censorship is all the rage among any reporter who gets anywhere within 50 miles of Washington, D.C. Most of them have very handsome salaries in the six figures and up and they know in their hearts that they will lose economic security and comfort if they raise unpleasant issues for the powerful.

So, part of the problem with the media is, of course, that there are plenty of fascist owners like the creeps at Clear Channel, Sinclair or News Corp.

But the reporters themselves are perfectly willing to slip into their straightjackets and don their own muzzles every day for the sake another SUV, Carnival cruise or Aspen ski spree.

And we have the audacity to call the Russians corrupt.
