Many of the micros which had been beaten down during the year seemed to have some big volume and price moves over the past couple of sessions. It may be either the January effect or the changes in the SHO regs re settlement, trying to fight the naked short problem.

Some of the micros I follow, (see The Microcap Kitchen thread here on SI) that had unusual volume and/or price movements are

PFVI
CRKT
TTGH
VRDM
CPSX
POSC
CTE
NYER
DFNS
AMLJ
RGBI
IMX
TXCC
TVIN

Others that were beaten up and haven't had any significant change in trading pattern

VSYS
FPPC
AEGCF

I'm long on all these.

Most had been fairly beaten up during the year.
