Bill, thanks a lot.

I did download something called "Rostrum Camera" that only allows vertical
or horizontal pans. Also, converting .bmp to .avi leads to somewhat unsmooth
and jumpy video sequences. I will try "photo-to-movie" and give a report back!!!

Hi Bill,

You had provided some advice in a similar vein a short while ago- and I'd like to say "thank you!"

I ended up using ProShow Gold: photodex.com and a music editing software program, WavePad: nch.com.au to make a DVD of photos/music.

The LQ Graphics product looks like an excellent program and would allow for complex, multi-segment motion paths which is a feature lacking in ProShow Gold. Nice!

Anyway, thanks again for your advice- it was terrific and I'm very pleased with the end result.

Tony

So you gonna try Photo To Movie? Seems vastly improved over the beta we spoke of, a long while back.

"I create 10 to 30 slideshows a week, and that number will only go up. I had been using Final Cut or After Effects I wasn't happy with those options. Final Cut gives little control over interpolating keyframes. After Effects takes forever to render."

"Since I do some much work with stills, I started looking for another solution. Long story short, your app allows me to build much, much faster and with greater control over every movement."
