Remember that all the money for this effort came out of the "bad" US defense budget and doesn't count at all towards the US "stingy foreign aid" totals. Let's see how many of our MSM are honest enough to state that the cost of doing this isn't included in the $350 million dollars.... I talked to a friend tonight, and even she didn't know that....nor did she know that Kofi Annan hadn't said anything for more than 72 hours, and still hasn't done anything that I can see except to announce he is going to the damaged area. She hadn't seen anything about that in the press....only that Bush was being called stingy...........Geeeeeeze........ Good thing for blogs....and internet.
