Ok then still waiting for the proof I guess. But while we're waiting ponder this. Rather apologized in the middle of September. That left a whole 50 days for the spin meisters to work on this story. News at the speed of Cable TV...and for that matter the speed of the internet had this story so widely circulated in a matter of days. All most every spin doctor had his or her way with this before Nov 2nd. Most political analysts have said that Rather's bad story was a big plus for Bush. I'd have to agree. I also believe that Rather knew that if the story was bogus it would be brought out and dealt with in this lightening fast way. He also must have known that if the story was not true it would not bode well for both Kerry (as you are sure he supported Kerry right?) and his own personal career. That's why nothing you have said makes sense so far to me. In fact I think conservatives owe Rather a big round of applause for lifting the dark cloud hanging over Bush's TANG career. Orca
