It is always really special to hear from you, chooseanother. Yes, it would be hard to really enjoy the holidays fully with the disaster in South Asia unfolding. It is not a pleasant backdrop for festivities, really. And of course the war in Iraq does not make for a cheery time, either. My neighbor across the street has a brother-in-law stationed in Iraq, who was able to fly home for a very short time and had to fly back on Christmas day. He has seven months left in Baghdad. I think almost everyone knows of some story like that, and thinking about it really puts things in perspective. I am really sorry, but I don't watch much tv at all. Could you tell me what a Monk marathon is, perhaps?
