I think the historically accepted figure is about 6 million Jews. But some say there were another 2 million "others" also who never get mentioned by history. Then there are other versions that the real total was only around 600,000. Who really knows now? My dad was in Europe during WWII but he never talked about any holocaust. He did talk about "liberating" a French wine cellar and him and a few buddies got alcohol poisoning and ended up in the military hospital. After that for the rest of his life alcohol made him sick .
