I think there will be massive blood shed on a scale greater than WWII before the Islamofascist threat is terminal. The momentum and foundation behind this ideology is strong and can only be derailed with massive punishment across the Arab and Iranian nations. Perhaps I am too pessimistic. But I suspect once the islamofascists get desperate they will launch attacks without a concern about our response. They want to entice the Arab street to join their cause, so far the Arab masses have not taken much of a stance against the Islamofascists. If a nuclear bomb goes off in NYC or they manage to stop oil flow through the Persian Gulf they will illicit a response that will be cataclysmic. All the governments in the Arab countries and Iran are terminal, in fact in most all oil rich nations. What are the chances that they will be replaced peacefully without a significant impact on oil exports?

The only solution to Islamic Fascism is Muslim action. At some point the majority has to realize that the small minority is stealing the future of their children. They are not all nuts. Many are silent. Something will have to change the status quo. Perhaps a peace settlement in Palestine - Abbas is not looking like a good option now. The other possibility is a Ukraine type action within Iran. I look for the Ukraine type revolution within Iran as the trigger to change!
