Saddam's non-involvement in 911 does not equal Saddam being a non-threat.

As far as I'm concerned, Saddam's support for other groups committing ("minor") terror attacks against Americans like in the Philippines, his giving haven after the fact to a number of terror organizations which have slaughtered Americans, his attempt to assassinate an ex-President, and the warnings from Russian intelligence about future plans to launch terror attacks against us is plenty reason to take Saddam out of the picture. The relevance of 911 is that it simply shows the stakes involved in terrorism are larger than were generally believed before.
