Walkingshadow and Vendit, thanks for the warm welcome. I'm glad I discovered this board. Vendit is extremely knowledgeable and I look forward to reading more with respect to his and other's great TA.

Your comparisons of Mutual Funds are Vegas are very interesting. I never quite thought of it that way. It is amazing how most funds don't beat simple indices. Have you thought of just playing ETF's? They have been proliferating and making real inroads against MF's. They charge much less in fees and you can buy, sell just like stocks, plus the big ones like QQQQ have options.

For those who know as much as you do about the markets, it doesn't make a lot of sense to pay those fees as you could probably do as well or better on your own or with ETF's.
