There are a lot of people, especially small business owners, farmers, ranchers, etc. who have estates that can be hard hit by estate taxes. Not having the right insurance in the correct structure can and often has forced heirs to sell valuable assets at what is often a very bad time market-wise to sell, for no other reason that to pay the tax man. We're talking about millions of people in this category.

It doesn't take all that much in estate value these days to be subjected to the maximum rate. And, who knows what changes in the tax laws will come out of DC in coming years and decades?

Anyway, the original point I was trying to make is that she gives "absolute" advice in what is most often not an absolute world... that annoys me.
