So, Cheers, sore loser, and happy new year.

Happy New Year to you, too!

I am hardly a "sore loser". I offered my congrats to the board back in November and accepted Bush as our president.

However, unlike you, I do not worship Bush as a god who does no wrong.

When Bush screws up, like he did with his tepid initial response to the Tsunami disaster, I'll say so. And I don't accept the half-baked explanations that the extent of the disaster was not known. It seemed everyone knew but Bush.

When he gets it right, as he did by speaking out, increasing aid and doing the important symbolic things like lowering flags and sending Jeb and Colin to the region, and today asking former President's Bush and Clinton to help in raising private funds for disaster relief, I'll commend his actions.

The responses to my posts were interesting. People who said morality and values are important asked why America should take the lead in disaster relief. People who said we should be unite behind the President dredge up Clinton financing and the last election when we said the President needed to do more. Then, when he gets the message and I commended him, they praise fellow Republicans.
