How many troops were deployed in GW1? Total troops from all countries?

How many troops were deployed in GW2? These are important questions.

If Bush was listening to Powell, he would have heard that we need to have a complete plan. One that uses overwhelming force, has a clearly defined objective, and most importantly has an exit strategy. Bush did not listen to Powell...that is clear.

Powell also counciled, "if you break it you own it" The pottery barn rule. Yes maybe a light fast force could go to Bagdhad quickly...but a different kind of force is needed to keep the peace. We did not plan well, we broke it and now we own it.

This administration ignored the advice of Powell. It's pretty hard to say Bush benefited from Powell...he did not.

As for Cheney...we know what he predisposition to war is...all for it...so long as I don't have to go...and I can profit from it through my blind trust and Haliburton connections.

We have gotten our tit in a wringer. No matter what happens next we're going to minus one tit.
