I don't tend to accumulate objets d'art, but am a sucker for gadgets. Just got a very cool newspaper recycling thingie that has a way to wrap the bundle with string before removing from bin, and a little seat device to sit on while gardening or working on things at ground level that has a roundish base so I can swivel around. The seat I have been using is a life saver for my knees, but won't move easily. I plant more trees every year, put in more garden paths, build more garden structures. I am going for the Monet at Giverny effect. Sort of the opposite of travelling light.
