"Exit polls consistently off from final results by 5%...always skewed to Bush? This is impossible. 1 chance in 250 million."

What's more believable, that the unscientific, unprofessional exit polls used a bad methodology which resulted in being off by a few percentage points -- an amount equivalent to the margin of error inherent in such polls, in fact -- or that George Bush and the Republican machine engaged in massive, outrageous fraud right under the noses of the Democratic machine and didn't get caught?

Maybe the exit pollsters tended to approach only people who appeared approachable, and that in itself introduced a consistent error.

I'm sure Democrats would agree that Democrats are more approachable than surly Republicans.
