Or a replay of 1991-1995, depending on how far back
one remembers SUNW and how much confidence you really
have in the company (except for the few die-hards that
are really hard to find these days, I'd say the number
is non-existent).
The key difference between then and now is in 1991,
SUNW was slowing down from years of hypergrowth,
but still growing as a company. Today, the company
and the execs have to deal with memories/effects of the
extreme bubble of the late 90s. If it can grow again,
we'll be having a different discussion. Thats what this
quarter's results and future projections (if any) will
show.
