I guess I do have 1 sot uncle on my Irish side but I have a sot uncle on my Norwegian side as well. Well, you know those Norwegians. :-) I wonder what she would have to say if I said that majority of American Indians were drunks (they do have the reputation- -and I doubt they can cite the fine intellectual heritage the Irish can) or that Mexican women moved stiffly because so many of them are devout Catholics. (Note: I make no such charge. I've been there to often and know better. The Mayan woman, largely devout Catholic, are some of the prettiest woman and most smoothly moving ones on the planet. They are a joy.) [ And get your mind out of the gutter, Gloop! That's NOT what I meant!) I think anyone with on once of objectivity knew that the market and the economy was in trouble well before Bush was in office. In March of 2000 we had a major quake hit the market and that was the start and sign of things to come. It Well, Gloop, you just excluded about half the site. Because they don't get it. Many even deny there WAS a bubble in the '90s. If there was no bubble, how could it have burst. Agree with you about 911. The Islamic nutcases sealed their fate that day. The US had had enough of being their soft target. The exact same scenario would have played out for Gore or Clinton (if we allowed 3 terms) with respect to the economy. Yes.
