New Zealand is heading for total communism at about 60% of spending [all government departments and controlled industry]. Japan's taxes are low and government spending relatively small. USA must be about a third communist. Or maybe 40%. Google would know the relative positions I suppose. Apart from spending, there is repressive regulation. Must do this that and the other and may not do this that and the other. Everything is forebidden unless specifically allowed. How is that measured? We are suffocating in NZ. Everything is illegal.
