Monsanto hires the best lawyers from the largest law firms which have the highest proportion of judges appointed to the bench. Here we do not elect judges. Farmers have reported seeing unidentified helicopters doing crop surveys all over the northern grain belt this summer. The idea of genetically modifying a crop does not bother me as much as commercially implementing that new grain crop in ten years in what took 10,000 years to develop without knowing the full implications.
