Knew I had seen the 9 day adjustments. On SI click on the chart and then click on Java. You then are carried to a chart that has in small print 'options' above it. (And, this does not mean market options but options for you to customize the Java chart.)

Click on options and you get carried to a list of indicators that can be custom set by user. Tried it and it works.

Can you explain the usefulness of the 9 day moving average as opposed to the 10 day?

Good morning Gush,

I’ve never used that configuration. When I first began dabbling with trends and analysis I was trading biotechs using 10/50 triggers.

By the way I did some searching for the 9 day scan engine this morning and I am certain that I can find it for you but there are hundreds of scan engines out there to choose from. Some are free, others are not. I like free. <g>
