"Don't forget to include in your Q4 earnings calculations $35.6 million of premiums paid for early conversion of some of their convertible notes, which is around $0.10 per share."

Yeah I know! No doubt, the $0.10 knock on EPS, although a laudable action by any other company, even though non-recurring, will somehow be turned into a significant negative by the naysayers in our midst!

No matter though, as the naysayers are now hanging by a thread, one that will be snapped once and for all when Q4 EPS blows away the $0.19 consenses! (no doubt the naysayers will find other "Gateways" in Q1 though!)

That won't affect pro-forma earnings, which is what the estimates target.

re: EPS Contest - Does anyone know whether the $35.6M of charges are supposed to be included in our calculations, since they have been pre-announced. Or are we supposed to ignore them, since they are one-time charges?

BTW, I think 35.6M is more like ($0.08), not ($0.10), based on 421M shares.
