Finally... a a bit of honesty here.

Now that we're in the confessional, I'll admit I cringed when Kerry made that remark about not raising taxes on people making less than $200k. It was a class warfare type statement that doesn't become a presidential candidate.

If you're going to repeal Bush tax reductions, at least ask everyone to sacrifice something. I also figured Kerry would raise nusiance taxes so he could claim that people who didn't smoke, drink, fly, use the telephone, visit national parks, buy new cars, ski, have sex more than twice a week, use wood products or breathe would not pay additional taxes.

But I voted for him anyway for the same reason many voted for Bush - hope that common sense would prevail over campaign rhetoric.
