International fees are higher.

USAA Bank recently kicked back a $50 check to me drawn in US Dollars on Barclay bank in England.

The reason they gave me is it would cost more to process the check than it was worth.

But 15% for a wire transfer seems wrong. My bank charges a fixed fee for wire transfers.

I was surprised at Kumar's post, too. I've only done two wire transfers but Schwab didn't charge me for either of them.
