solaris has been out for decades. the market has spoken and they don't want it. I hope you aren't basing new purchase decisions on this. Once again for newbies. Management ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS talks glowingly about products...prospects, everything having to do with where they WORK. It CAN"T be any other way. So when you read a PR or a QUASI pr from The Register, remember THIS! That is what THEY do. And that is ALL they do. Their job is to live ONE MORE DAY.. to survive at the office ONE MORE DAY ONE MORE DAY in the bubble... one day closer to that next option grant so that they can then roll the dice and possibly get rich, like their predecessors born under a lucky star did, simply for SHOWING UP and doing their job, and telling a few white lies that never hurt nobody...along the way.
