Rational Explications blog - What Does Iraq Have to Do with the WOT?
rationalexplications.com

From WorldNetDaily, via Chris Lynch:

U.S. military warplanes flew over Iranian air space, raising Tehran's concerns preparations are being made to knock out its nuclear facilities, according to Iranian news media reports.

Lots of people, such as former State Department Clintonista and current Brookings hack Susan Rice, have demonstrated their geopolitical savvy with original and insightful commentary like this:

A nuclear Iran, not Saddam Hussein's Iraq, is a truly dangerous manifestation of that threat.

Meanwhile, thanks to the actual War on Terrorism instead of the fantasy one in which we lobbed missiles into tents and aspirin factories, it is now possible to report that "U.S. jets reportedly flew out of bases in Afghanistan and Iraq" to conduct aerial reconnaissance of Iran's nuclear facilites.

Assuredly, though, when the U.S. actually does something about Iran's nuclear weapons program, people very much like Susan Rice will decry the unilateral impetuosity of it all.
