We've had this discussion before as you might remember and IMO tougher markets create more opportunity. You are correct that one can or could give back profits from the cycle but in the past I have tended to over trade my accounts or at least have poor timing which has hurt my results. So far this year being long has been a mistake, I would suggest though the year is young and even January is young for that matter. I of course have been wrong before and will be once again I'm sure.
