It is...think of what happened to the Argentinian Merval when their peso went spinning down the toilet (hint: it didn't go down). The Fed has been all too successful in killing savers in dollars, to the point that their efforts have scared them into any other asset: bonds, stocks, houses, foreign currencies, pork belly futures, the barbarous relic, you name it.
