...that we hold on to this stock thru the bad times...

Not any more. I set my stop a month or so ago and it went off this morning. So I get out with an average 25% gain, or about
10%/year. Not the worst trade I've ever done, and it's good to start a new year with a gain instead of a loss... But I was hoping for so much more.

I know, I'm just being greedy. It just that getting almost 75% in 5 mos (amd: aug thru dec) spoils you :-)

I suspect sunw will get higher, but too slowly for my taste. I'm having too much fun watching something like PNR (wishing I'd got in when it was in the teens instead of the 30s).

FWIW, I think if there were a material shortfall they would have warned by now. So this "softness" of which the analysts speak, if it exists at all, is unlikely to be very great.

And there are plenty of things that could easily elude surveys of channel partners and CIOs -- China, currency effects, etc.

At any rate, we'll find out in due course.

JMHO, and not a legal opinion, or anything even close.
