I also thought that the EPS contest was based on pro-forma earnings. I will adjust my entry accordingly. If you want evidence that the earnings listed by your brokerage or favorite investment information site are pro-forma, just compare the past earnings reports filed by the company with the SEC to the prior quarters earnings listed at your broker, etc. If you also used the same standard, it would leave it up to the entrants to figure it out on their own, and simplify your task.
