We get a lot of sun at our house. The temperature was
100 degrees or more in Seattle one long weekend last summer.
We had 108 degrees on the side of our house. It was
100 degrees in the shade, but that weekend was unusual.
Still, there are a lot of days when the temperature is
in the 80s and 90s.

I'm use to a cool house, and I sleep in a cool room so
we turned our air conditioning on last April, and it
kicked on every night.
