The water almost always comes from local sources. They don't export water from the Sierras here, for crying out loud!

FYI, a few years ago, Coke etc. had problems with the high levels of pesticides in their sodas sold in India. They were using local borewell water which had been contaminated with pesticide.

I guess you just like to argue.

I'll tell you what my point is. If you see Coke's greediness in sucking up all the local groundwater as a manifestation of the invisible hand then you have to also see the demonstrations, non violent resistance and also possibly violent resistance to such corporate greed as the other side of the same invisible hand. You can't take from people and expect them not to react.

Is it all good, or in your mind is only the corporation's greed good and the little guy's desire to protect his way of life evil?
