Great post, EC ... yes, if you got rolling independently the broker cabal would hate you for it, and the prospect of ultimate pay-out would disappear ... we're all speculators nowadays, nobody expects to hang around for dividends only

Lot of fine detail here, i didn't know it was only 200 shareholders on the CPC deal, 300 is standard for listings like Nasdaq smallcap .... never looked into the CNQ at all, never thought much of the COATS is probably why .... agreed that an MM system sucks, one of the beauties of the CDNX was that you could one-penny the bid or ask, or both at the same time [i've done this, and at least twice had them catch on the same day, with a spread that made it worthwhile, quite the rewarding feeling when you get home and find that your shares held are roughly the same and you made a few bucks meantime]

But it's frustrating, all that cost and regulation .... can't be avoided, go big or go home they say now in the woods, and they're right, the day of the gyppo sniper of sweet deals is gone

csl.h.v - another new 52-wk high, heh heh Howie will be hopping
