LOL, I was trying to be more diplomatic about that, but I agree with you 100%.

If I were a juror and the prosecution says these acts are illegal, now here is proof that this group of people committed these acts, I want a more substantial rebuttal than "gee, it was actually legal" or "we thought it was OK, really". I can see information from classified databases ending up on a subscription Web site. I see references to FBI info and pictures of the accused with another accused's business card. The dots appear to connect on the surface.

FBI agents and multimillion dollar stock traders are not that stupid. OK, maybe some are, but it strains credibility to think they could be the world's greatest scambusters yet totally clueless about the key legal issues in the case at the same time.

Purely my opinion as a lay person with no court experience (thank goodness).
