It amazes me when anyone over the age of 10 has absolutely no
problem when certain people publicly slander others, but has
no problem attacking & berating those who defend themselves
with the truth.

While driving around today doing my errands I happened to catch the top of the news on my car radio at 1:00 and 2:00. The lead off news item at 1:00, through ABC, was about several more helicopters the US was sending to the area in SE Asia. Through CBS at 2:00, the lead off was about the amount of aid the US had sent so far, including private donations from corporations (10 mil from Coca-Cola, 5 mil from Dow Chemical, 1 mil from the NYSE) to private donations from Spielberg (1.5 mil) and Bullock (1 mil.)

To their credit, the US media isn't sitting down for any criticism regarding the US govt or private corps and citizens charitable contributions.

They were reporting the news, not asking for some special recognition.

It must have been the comments from that guy at the UN?
