I imagine if we stopped funding the UN all together it would go a long ways towards stopping our flow of red ink. It would also be fun to stop supporting aid to countries that don't like us. That would eliminate a good share of our foriegn aid. Kind of like the picture of the young guys coming up to our helicopter crews for clean water wearing the Osama shirt. Should have just told the little pricks to call Osama and see if he could send them some water.

We aren't that way though.

Cap, That I agree with. For some reason, there are a lot of Americans that think a trip to gay Paree is the ultimate excursion, and the French are the worst offenders in spitting on Americans. I would never spend a dime to travel to anywhere in Europe, except maybe to Ireland, where we are appreciated, and liked. The rest of them can go to hell as far as I am concerned.

At one time, we were still giving foreign aid to nations that were competing with us for consumer dollars, and whose economy was as stable, if not more so, than ours. Why do we continue to send those kind money? No one can buy friendship, so let's close the purse strings, and turn them loose to fend for themselves. For all the money we have given them, they should be getting down, and kissing our boots.
