I'm secretary of state? - wouldn't matter if i was king of france, the problem would be the same and my solution identical ... alright in that position, i'd obviously get five minutes with Bush, i'd lay it on the line, look buddy it's clear that mistakes have been made here, how about being the big man and show you recognise that .... give him a few hours or days to think about it, then failing a coming-clean i would submit my letter of resignation, with brief clear wording as to the reason It's the first step, michael ... to keep trying to gloss it all over and pretend that everything is just going really really well and always has gone really really well and the best thing to do was to do exactly as was done, this is a mistake ... yes i could type more on this but it would always come round the same, no matter the detail between ... i do not want my country to enter any military adventures in support of a regime incapable of learning, punto ..... i do appreciate your efforts toward balance though [without speaking to their adequacy-g-] later ..... cheers
