Did you notice more sanctions threatened for syria where the old and surviving baath leadership is housed? I dont know if we have the clout to make a threat we can back up anymore. We will have to put serious hurt on them in the way of sanctions to get them to cooperate. Syria could move from provacateur to facilitator and possible home for sunni trianglites. A lot of stuff is going to happen in the mideast that is unexpected. For instance if the above happens, where does shiaa hizbollah end up? What about Lebanon? Isnt sunni saudi allied in some ways with shiaa iran? OY
