well stated GST. Its a logical alternate analysis and devoid of both the stridency as well as the language arguments you were fighting with jtallen about. Now with 20/20 hindsight in place re: wmds, i would have supported that stand but i didnt know then what i know now. So back then I thought the other side made the better argument. You didnt know then that there were no wmds though but...... Mike

The UN abdicated its responsibility....it is weak and corrupt and can not be a final arbiter of US national security...Bush did what he had to do.....
