I do know most of the patterns Ray, thanks though. Its just that from my understanding the reversal patterns like Bullish engulfing, The Crows, the Soldiers etc... need to come off of clear lows/highs.

In any event I don't use them per se, a 3 black crow pattern is almost always an impulsive down which can be the start of a new trend, or just a 'c' wave. Most of the market is at the juncture where it needs to decide which it will be. And as I look at the sector indices tonight, I see good support for both cases.

I'm really curious to see how the NDX handles that backtest of the breakout above the Jan 2004 high. That's as good a line in the sand as any.
