Yeah
same words I remember reading about Clinton

Dissent was healthy then and it's healthy now. I don't have to agree with it, I'm just happy to see it. If you don't agree, then we'll just have to disagree, because you are not convincing me.

<I was commenting on the absolute, everyday, day in and day out, never saying anything good about the President or any of his Administration, words that we have all read for the last MANY years.>

So, what are the good things about President Clinton and his administration you used to like? I guess you said them at the time, but I missed your adulatory comments sorry.

I don't recall many of the foaming at the mouth rabid right wing Republicans saying anything good about Bill Clinton, but maybe they did [if only in the privacy of their own homes, among consenting adults].

What were your favourite things?

PS: I hope for a constitution change to drop the term limitations and "born in the USA" restriction, so that Bush, Clinton and the Terminator could have a 3 way competition for the hearts, minds and bodies of the voters. A transferable vote system would be needed to keep it fair [people would vote for 1st preference and second preference, and if their first choice comes last, then their second vote is counted instead]. That would be a LOT of fun.

Edit... I see <
Yes, it is and was. Clinton was the elected President. He sullied the Oval Office as our President, and then lied about it. If he was going to screw around, he could have done it someplace other than the Oval Office. JFK found another few places other than the Oval Office to do the same thing.

So JFK had lots of places, not just the Oval Office?!! I dare say even JFK wasn't the first to have private moments in the Oval Office.
