I've been working with these patterns for a couple of years and have found them to be highly reliable

I would imagine that they are very reliable. As I said I respect them insofar as they are candle representations of impulsive waves which except in the case of a 'c' wave is pointed in the direction of the prevailing trend, so trading in that direction makes a lot of sense.

Doesn't change much for me right here. Its either a great place to buy (the (c) wave), or a more important trend change and I really can't make the call yet which is why I am pretty much flat. The structure of the first bounce will be key.

And I'll be honest, I am still biased up (why doubt the larger trend yet?) and I think EBAY is an interesting buy right around here for new highs.
