I am afraid you still do not get the full picture. Lack of "gas guzzlers" is not our only contribution. Energy efficient lighting and solar power are also in the mix, so I will repeat, if many more Americans went to "gas sippers" instead of "gas guzzlers", and the latest energy efficient lighting combined with some solar power, our dependence on foreign oil would be greatly reduced or eliminated completely depending on the final mix of energy efficient products and solar and our wind power.
