My grandfather was a sharecropper. Economic development is a great thing and has lifted and has helped lift hundreds of millions of people out of poverty, including my family.

It's disgusting to hear liberal elitists talk about protecting poor third-worlders so they can remain poverty-stricken peasants and uttering words like "moral compass" in the same breath.
