I have no idea what you are talking about Jewel. There were seventy-seven posts at Feelies in the ENTIRE YEAR before I came back. The thread was very close to being abandoned. I have really, really tried to be fair, because I believe in fairness as a principle. When I came back I did not discriminate against the right wingers--I hardly even remembered who was who. Everyone sort of sorted themselves out over time. Some people decided to leave, some people decided to stay, some new people came. Isn't that the way all threads at SI are? I have no idea of what we are even arguing about here, it is so stupid. The fact is that I can ban anyone on a whim, anyone I choose to ban, GONE in one mouse click!!! I don't have to say one word about why I am banning anyone, and having tried to be fair and explain everything certainly hasn't worked, so maybe I will start being totally unpredictable and whimsical next, and WHOOF!!!, like a gust of the chill north wind someone else will be gone. With so many obnoxious posts in one place, it is really pretty amazing that only seven posters are now banned (and they can come back if they want to). In any event, even though I thought you understood the thread rules you are not following them, because you seem to be intent on stirring up trouble from the past, and that is a very jangling and jumpy kind of energy that I have an especially low tolerance for. Your posts when you came back started out very reasonably, and I was hopeful, but the anger level in them seems to be building. Maybe you just enjoy being angry, but I need to meditate a lot and this is where I choose to do it, so you need to concentrate on staying mellow and writing posts that are in the present in an emotional sense, okay, and not just a provocative effort to start fights with people you disagree with, or their friends and relatives. I know you can do it if you try!
