It looks like the two of you are quoting different things. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like you are quoting the spot gold price from Kitco and Bob is quoting from NYMEX. ????

Bob's numbers for yesterday and today were

04-Jan-05 428.50
05-Jan-05 426.60

NY closes were 428.00 and 426.20 respectively.

Where did you get those numbers ?
The 426.60 was the Jan 2005 front month contract from
www.nymex.com and it matched the www.ino.com quote.
NYMEX does not provide spot prices.
