The fuel cell vehicle is in its infancy. We have to start somewhere. As I said, it is important to prove to a skeptical public that a fuel cell vehicle can actually be put on the road. An electric motor is far simpler than a petrol ICE. I agree there are pollution costs when hydrogen is produced. But, it is a lot easier to control pollution from a few hundred hydrogen plants than 100 Million + vehicles. Besides, I doubt the emission from hydrogen production are really all that bad.
