the release of the minutes makes me wonder about that -- if it weren't released to counter-balance what is coming?? or maybe the want the buck to rally just a tad more??

quite frankly those volumes and divergences on those charts look downright scary.
Time for an oversold bounce or a collapse?

Heinz:
short term, a bounce ---- on account of money flows. but they might collapse thereafter, although i doubt it's going to be that drastic. sometime this year they're probably going to put in a major low - roughly coincident with the low point of the yield curve flattening.

Heinz on the $CRB
Chart thanks to PCIG on the FOOL
stockcharts.com

yep...however, i think the CRB correction will be pretty garden variety stuff unless the economy really falls off a cliff. just checked the crude oil CoTs - small specs hold a near 20,000 contract net short position (that's quite large for this category) with the commercials holding the bulk of the offsetting longs. so
crude looks good from a technical PoV here short term. with today's rise the chart is beginning to look more bottomy as well...although it's probably too early to tell for sure, since there's resistance just above today's high point.
